This website examines the obscure Taoist philosophical doctrine of Triplex Unity (San He Yi), which is the ancient Taoist's equivalent of a "theory of everything." Mentioned directly in the 2nd Century alchemical work of the same name, "" (Can Dong Qi - Triplex Unity) by Wei, Bo-yang, indirect references are also found in texts that date back early as the Tao Te Ching (The Way and its Power) and the I Ching (Book of Changes), to as recent as the 1800's.
